Free Freight 

FREE Freight Nationwide for all orders over $100.00 + GST! Freight Free is to main centres nationwide; charges may apply for deliveries in outer-lying areas and islands. Freight Free is to 1 delivery address only; for multiple deliveries please contact our customer service team on 09 275 5580. Free freight does not apply to hire items.

Delivery Times

Most North Island addresses will receive goods within 1-3 working days, with the South Island being 2-4 working days after the goods are shipped. You will receive an email that confirms that your order has been dispatched along with the tracking number if available. To ensure successful delivery, please provide a delivery address where someone will be present during business hours to sign for the receipt of your package

Receiving Your Delivery

Please note that a signature is required for all deliveries. The goods become the recipient’s property and responsibility once they have been signed for at the time of delivery. PLEASE CHECK your package carefully for any signs of damage, IF goods are damaged in transit - DO NOT sign for them. Once you have signed for goods, the couriers will not honor any claims. If you sign for damaged goods we cannot take any responsibility for goods damaged in transit.


If goods are lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 business days. We will make a claim against our courier company. We will offer you the choice of a replacement or a full refund, once we have received confirmation from our courier company that delivery was not successful.

Freight Cost 

The handling fees are valid for consignments with a total cubic measurement of under 3m3. If your total consignment is above 3m3 you may be charged extra freight. Dexters NZ Ltd reserves the right to change the handling fees at any time, however, we will endeavor to advise you before your shipment is sent. We only deliver to New Zealand addresses. 


Terms & Conditions of Sale


Returns & Replacements

Goods returned for credit must be received within 14 days after purchase. Shortages or damaged goods must be advised within 48 hours. The buyer shall bear all costs of return and the condition of the goods returned must be in a re-sellable condition. Goods procured especially for the customer’s specifications and cut lengths (i.e. hose, matting, etc)  are not returnable. Returned goods may be subject to a handling fee. All relevant documentation must accompany returned goods, (i.e. returns authorization, packing slip or invoice number, date etc).

Please contact us with any warranty queries or claims. All freight incurred for any warranty claims or warranty returns are payable by the customer. It is normal that goods be returned to the place of purchase at the customer's cost. If the claim is a warranty issue, then you will not have to pay the freight for the repaired or replaced goods to be returned back to you.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Payment for online orders is due before dispatch, except if your company holds a 20th Month account with Dexters NZ Ltd. 

We offer 3 payment options:
   - Credit Card: your payment will be processed by a trusted third party company. 
   - Bank Transfer: you can transfer funds directly into our account. If you select this option our account details will be shown on your confirmation page and email.
   - Account Order: This is for monthly account holders at Dexters NZ Ltd only. If you are unsure if you hold an account with Dexters NZ Ltd please call us.

All pricing advertised on this website is subject to GST and freight. (See above for freight charge details.) All pricing advertised is for online orders only. Pricing is subject to change at any time without prior notice. Promotional pricing is only valid for the time period of the promotion. Any orders placed outside of the advertised dates will not receive promotional pricing. Dexters NZ Ltd uses SSL, does not store credit card details, and all payments are handled by a secure, PCI compliant, third party.

Dexters NZ Ltd accepts Visa or Mastercard for online purchases. 


If a portion of the account is under dispute the remaining balance must be paid as above and the nature of the dispute is to be brought to the company’s attention within 14 days or sooner.

Cancellation or Modification To An Order 

If you wish to cancel or modify an order, the best way to call us on 0800 339 837. Any cancellations or modifications to your order after it has been dispatched may incur re-stocking or freight fees. Any changes will be advised to you before the cancellation or modification is confirmed. 


All products sold by Dexters are covered by a 12 month Dexters Customer Guarantee warranty, which covers damaged or faulty parts and machines as a result of a manufacturing fault. It does not cover breakages or worn parts that are a result of normal use, rough handling, use of the equipment outside what it is intended for, and normal wear and tear. If the original manufacturer of the product has a shorter or longer warranty term, this will override the Dexters Customer Guarantee.

Goods supplied are guaranteed for the period of the manufactures warranty from the date of delivery against defective materials and workmanship, provided payment for such goods has been carried out as above. 


The ownership and property of the goods delivered will remain with Dexters NZ Ltd until full payment has been received. If however payment is not received by the set terms above Dexters NZ Ltd shall be entitled to take possession of the goods and hold them until payment in full has been received.

Information on Account

The information required on this credit application is voluntary. Under the Privacy Act 1993 the supplier may at any time request any information held by Dexters NZ Ltd in detail. The information required will enable Dexters NZ Ltd to determine the creditability of the purchaser. However, without the information required the application may not proceed.

Updating Your Account 

You have the right to access and update or amend your contact details at any time. You can do this by going to My Account and selecting which information you wish to change. If you need assistance please contact us. If you wish to opt out of promotional emails please contact us.
